PUMPKIN PATCH CHILDREN'S STORES
Time for Spring Cleaning! We're looking for Cribs, furniture, high chairs --- all that stuff that might be in your way now! In addition, we're gearing up for spring with Easter dresses, khakis, suits, dress shoes, and lightweight clothing in spring colors. Call us with any questions you might have about selling your items. We're happy to help and can't wait to see you.
We need good cribs! Standards changed in July of 2011, so if yours was purchased after that, we'd love to see it! By the same token, if you're in the market for a deal on a resale crib, be careful to be sure it meets the new standards. Many Craigslist sellers are unaware that it's illegal to sell a crib that was manufactured prior to 7/11 and it may not be safe. So call us if you have questions! We're happy to help!
Also, we buy furniture: dressers, changing tables, and the like. And it's finally cold out there! Bring in those outgrown winter items and get the right size. We look forward to seeing you!
It's really gonna happen --- it's gonna get cold out there! We've been buying items for cool weather since August. So now's the time to shop! We have the best selection BEFORE the chill flies in, so come take a look! Newborn to size 8, we have all KINDS of goodies in stock right now, including adorable Halloween costumes (you should see the little blonde baby who'll be wearing the fuzzy chick costume, oh too cute!) And another one who scored Superman today! In addition, we have furniture at both stores that will MAKE your kid's room. Give us a call if you have questions. We're ready!
On behalf of all good business owners and managers, I’d like to take this one opportunity to address the power of feedback from you, the Consumer. So proud to say we’ve been in business for 17 years now! We have some of the most loyal, wonderful customers out there. Thank you for that! HERE'S THE BIG MESSAGE: I don't know ALL good business owners and managers. But I know we're all on the same page about this! We LOVE it when customers take the time write about their good experiences online through Yelp or Facebook. Those are hard to come by --- not because our wonderful employees aren't striving every day to give our customers a great experience --- but because (we know!) you have alot more incentive to complain on those same sites when you're unhappy with a product or service. You want the immediate gratification of "retaliation". But are you being fair? Kind? Have you given that business an opportunity to rectify the situation before you blast them publicly online? Maybe that inattentive waiter just found out he lost a grandparent…that clerk you perceive as "rude" had a car accident on the way to work and is stressed. No, not excuses for poor service, but extenuating circumstances nonetheless. PLEASE -- give that manager or business owner an opportunity to explain a situation or right a wrong whenever they can. If they don't step up to the plate, then maybe your complaint is justified. But believe me --- most every business wants to stay in business! We strive for customer satisfaction every day, while maintaining the policies we need to be fair, provide a safe and desirable product, and to remain profitable as our employees DEPEND on the paychecks our businesses provide. In a mass of big-box stores and chains, we need more independently-owned businesses! Your rush-to-judge negative posting could put a hard-working local business under...when all that was required was a little patience and an opportunity for a business to work with you on a problem or give you a better understanding of its policies. So, during this busy, often stressful time of year, be kind. Be tolerant. Use your power fairly. And by all means, take the time to praise someone when they do it well! You have no idea how much it is appreciated, and how you may help a deserving business grow!
Make the World a Better Place! Thank You! Michelle Alexander, Pumpkin Patch
We're having a great summer, hope you are making the most of yours, too! A couple of notes:
