Given the additional space available at both our Austin locations, it was obvious that the perfect partner to our children's store was a home furnishings store. At Welcome Home, we carry a wide variety of quality

previously-owned furniture, from dressers and armoires to dining tables and decor.

WE HAVE FURNITURE WE NO LONGER NEED. HOW DOES IT WORK?

At Welcome Home, you can consign your furnishings or some may be bought outright. If you need an estimated resale value before you bring your items by, stop by with a photo or email us at welcomehome1@austin.rr.com; we'll be happy to give you an estimate.

WHAT TYPES OF FURNITURE DO YOU TAKE?

We take a wide variety of styles and types, from antique to modern and lots of things in between. Just give us a call on your items!

WILL YOU COME BY HOME AND GIVE AN APPRAISAL?

Within Austin, we will give a written appraisal of your items for a fee of $40 per

half-hour. Areas outside Austin will be quoted based on time and distance.

PRICING ON CONSIGNMENTS:

We'll determine the pricing of your items with you. They'll then be placed in the showroom at that initial price for 30 days. You'll receive 50% of the selling price, which will be mailed to you on the 15th of the following month. Items are then discounted in 30-day increments. If unsold after 30 days, it is officially discounted by 10%, then 25%, and finally 45% after 90 days. You can pick up your items at any time before 120 days. Any items unsold after 120 days become the property of Welcome Home.

OUTRIGHT PURCHASE:

Some items may be purchased outright. The offer will be based on condition, demand, and age of the item(s).

PICKUP / DELIVERY:

Available for a fee, which depends on the number/type of items and your proximity to our store. Just give us a call at 804-1940 for an estimate.
